After the poor summer we have just experienced we can only hope for a fine autumn but whatever the weather the Sugarloaf Cafe can always be depended on to open regular hours and supply top notch refreshment. The cafe is a true treasure in the heart of the bustling tourist village of Glengarriff.

The cafe is vibrant and bright with friendly staff headed up by the owner Aine Hourihane, originally from Passage West but now firmly established in West Cork.

The Sugarloaf Cafe serves a full selection of good coffees, hot chocolate, teas and cold beverages, home-made ice cream, waffles and pancakes together with more sweet and savoury treats.

A full Irish Breakfast is served together with a smaller option, omelette or scrambled eggs. Brunch and lunch are served with toasties, panini, wraps and sandwiches.

Delicious home-made cakes are available throughout the day. At The Sugarloaf Cafe it is all about the cake!

West Cork is known for its amazing artisan food producers and growers. With its temperate climate and pristine waters we get the best from our lush land and seas. The Sugarloaf Cafe is pleased to support these local food businesses wherever possible.

The area is also known for its talent and creativity from local artists. The Sugarloaf Cafe sells a range of food products and crafts which make an ideal gift or memento of a visit to Glengarriff.

On a fine day the cafe has a colourful outside seating area where you can enjoy your food al fresco and drink in the vibrant village atmosphere. The Sugarloaf Cafe is family friendly and wheelchair accessible.
