The Wild West Bar

Originally trading successfully as The Fastnet Bar on Main Street, in the small, quaint, coastal hamlet of Goleen, the bar changed hands earlier in the year and was completely transformed by the new owners to create a lively village hub for both locals and visitors and rebranded as The Wild West Bar.

No expense was spared in renovating the bar with the installation of a new state of the art kitchen, new bathrooms and the provision of a charming outside seating area for an alfresco meal or drink and the renovation of an old outbuilding into a room suitable for private functions and gatherings.

Although the refurbishment of the bar has transformed the premises, it still retains its character as an traditional Irish Bar, preserving much of the old stonework in the modernisation process. A stove has been fitted into the old stone fireplace which will add to the ambience of the bar as we head into the longer and chillier nights, The Wild West Bar has established itself as a live music and entertainment venue. Although the live music might not be so frequent over the low season the Ceol Agus Craic is sure to carry on over the autumn and winter months.

In a short space of time The Wild West Bar has established an enviable reputation for its good food. The menu is concise but has been carefully crafted to appeal to all tastes and budgets. All dietary requirements can be catered for, simply mention this when ordering. The allergens are clearly shown on the menu.
