The pop-up shop will showcase and sell high quality crafts and fine art works made by the numerous and varied, talented Artists, Designers and Craftspeople that populate Cork County. Local Artist Cecilia Scholte Lubberink was awarded the Creative Start-up Grant by Cork County Council and Creative Ireland, to revitalise the former Kerr’s Pharmacy on the Main Street of Dunmanway. The shop will help to brighten up the town during the festive season and encourage shoppers to support local businesses. If successful, it’s hoped that the pop-up shop will lead to a new Creative Centre in the town.
